The crucial meeting might not be unconnected to the crisis that rocked the ruling party since the national leader of the APC Bola Tinubu asked Chief Oyegun to resign for derailing the party’s agenda.

Tinubu made the demand on September 25 in a communiqué from his media office.

The ex-governor of Lagos state accused Oyegun of sabotaging the will of democracy in Ondo state by sending the name of Rotimi Akeredolu to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

However, the two politicians were spotted yesterday at the public presentation of Buhari’s biography.
